Day 0 - So This Is How It’s Going To Work… Kapische?

Check out those huge biceps! Haha, I took this photo of myself today - one day before training begins. This is to cover what I said I would cover in my last post - READ IT! Basically I am going to post a picture of myself everyday, possibly every two days (depending on time, etc) so that all of you can view my progress with my bodybuilding challenge. Now, not all of the pictures will have the newspaper shown for a proof of the date (not that anyone is accusing me of misleading people). I will take a photo with a newspaper just once a week on a non training day. For the proof of date, just click on the picture of the zoomed in newspaper above to enlarge the photo (all photos are like this by the way - click and you get a bigger IN YOUR FACE version).

Also, hopefully, if you are lucky, I will smile in my pictures. : ) Just to point out, I am not endorsed by Calvin Klein (I wish I was), I just happen to have 15 of the same underwear by them which I received in a lot. What that means is that you will be seeing a lot of those Black/Red trunks which is probably a good thing as you won’t get distracted by ever changing underwear.

I plan to make a video every week or so to keep you updated on my progress in person (well, over youtube that is). In the video I will also answer questions from YOU - my devoted follower.

The only thing that can stop me from working out this week now is if any of my past sports injuries decide to pay a visit. In that event I will have to cease working out and start at a later date as continued bodybuilding with serious injuries (especially the shoulders) could mean months of having to take time off. Hopefully, that won’t happen, and knowing my nature, I’ll probably carry on bodybuilding even with an injury just to prove a point.

I measured my stats today using my incredible Tanita machine (unfortunately, forgot to take muscle measurements, I will measure them before working out and post them tomorrow).

Here they are:

  • HEIGHT - 5 feet 11.5 inches / 182 cm ( I will remeasure this tomorrow just incase I took an inaccurate reading.
  • WEIGHT - 60 kg / 132 lbs
  • BODY FAT % - 7.4
  • BODY WATER % - 64.5
  • MUSCLE MASS - 52.8 kg / 116.4 lbs
  • BONE MASS - 2.8 kg / 6.2 lbs
  • MINIMUM ENERGY REQUIRED (BMR) - 1656 kcal / 6927 kJ
  • METABOLIC AGE - 12 :(
  • VISCERAL FAT RATING - 1 (out of a possible 59 - I have the lowest possible rating)

So there you have it, see how hench and muscular I am? I shall speak to you all again tomorrow when I begin my first day of my challenge. Stay tuned and tell all of your friends that some mad man is uploading pictures of himself everyday in just his underwear. Bye
