Day 1 - The Challenge Has Begun!
The challenge has finally begun! WOOHOO! Today I started my new diet and did my first workout. It’s been a really challenging day, trying to keep calorie intake on the high and really working out hard. Everything has been multiplied to the max! Drinking at least 3 litres of water, eating foods with high amounts of protein, etc, etc, you know the rest. Hopefully it’s something I’ll get used to over time and keeping a routine will become second nature.
So as you can see from the picture, I am already ridiculously hench, comparable to Arnie’s good days. I’m actually just looking to tone up a bit. No seriously, I think I may have been born with the worst genes in my year group. Hopefully, genes won’t be able to stop me on my journey. I took the picture before eating and drinking in the afternoon and before my workout so you won’t be mislead by a “pump”. I also took my body composition reading at the same time to ensure accurate results. I will take the reading at the same time every day. As I accurately remeasured my height, the fat percentage will be higher as I am half an inch shorter.
Here are my stats:
- HEIGHT - 5 feet 11 inches / 181 cm ( corrected from yesterday)
- WEIGHT - 60.2 kg / 132 lbs
- BODY FAT % - 8.0
- BODY WATER % - 63.8
- MUSCLE MASS - 52.5 kg / 115.8 lbs (Physical Rating - 7 - Thin)
- BONE MASS - 2.8 kg / 6.2 lbs
- MINIMUM ENERGY REQUIRED (BMR) - 1650 kcal / 6904 kJ
- METABOLIC AGE - 12

- VISCERAL FAT RATING - 1 (out of a possible 59 - I have the lowest possible rating)
AND, I also took my muscle size readings using a tape measure. All measurements are girth measurements. Here they are:
- CHEST - 33″
- WAIST - 30″
- HIPS - 33″
- SHOULDERS - 40″
- RIGHT BICEP (relaxed) - 9.5″
- RIGHT BICEP (flexed) - 11″
- NECK - 15″
- RIGHT CALF - 13″
- UPPER THIGH - 19.5″
So there you have it, all of my stats right in your face for you to look at and admire. Tomorrow thankfully is a resting day, no workouts but still, EATING AND DRINKING TO THE MAX! I did take some posey photos aswell today, I will have to post them tomorrow as it is extremely late here in London and I can barely keep my eyes open. Until then, see ya!

You should learn to do heavy, high rep breathing squats, it is the closest thing to a miracle exercise for gaining weight and building muscle mass for hardgainers. http://www.hardgainers-weight-tips.com
