Day 5 - Another Pound Overnight!
Hey everyone, today was another workout day and I now have two days of nice, precious rest. Well, Monday is school so that’s not exactly rest (bodybuilding for the mind). I only have 4 weeks till my GCSE exams start (O levels, GCSE, whatever you call them in the country you are sitting in - exams taken at the age of 16). This is going to make my bodybuilding routine and diet very hard to keep up with but I’m determined to make it all work. I might try and do my workouts in the morning before school to try and fit in bodybuilding and exam preparation. Anyway, I’ll worry about that on Monday.
I checked my stats again today and I have put on another pound of muscle since yesterday. That puts me at 136 pounds in comparison to 132 pounds on Day 1. I’m not going to bother copying in the stats again as I’m going to do that tomorrow anyway - Sunday is going to be stats update / date proof and video day. Don’t know about making a video tomorrow but in general, it will probably be on Sundays that I post one. I’m going to go and get some good recovery time now (also known as sleep). Keep following and stay tuned. Peace out.

Hi Daiyaan
I see that you’re rapidly are gaining weight. Keep it up. I wondered how you’re training program looked like?
Most people that do not make progress are overtraining. Being a hardgainer myself, it took me more than 20 years to learn that and that it sometimes take 7-10 days to fully recuperate after a training session. After starting to understand this, I felt much better during training and constantly progresses.

Hey Johan, firstly, thank you for visiting the site. Yes, overtraining is a huge problem. It took me ages to find out how to really build muscle. I remember I started last year with high hopes and I only lost muscle, didn’t gain anything. That was due to a lack of knowledge on building muscle and a bad diet. I was skinnier then than I was when I started Day 1 on this site.
My training routine involves just 3 days of working out a week. This ensures that my muscles get the optimum amount of time to recover before they are trained again the next week. At the moment, it is taking my muscles around 4 days to recover after each workout from soreness. I’m guessing/hoping this time will decrease as I continue bodybuilding and hopefully my gains will continue to grow at the rate they are now.
